This ensemble with floral edge was designed by Herbert Niebling who named his creation "Baroque". He worked with ANCHOR coats mercerized crochet cotton No. 60 on knitting needles 1.5 mm ( nowadays available by JMRA only in setsof double-pointed kniotting needles ).The measurements are stated in parentheses, for the complete ensemble approx. 50g yarn will be required. The ensemble as shown here is knitted from ANCHOR Coats filet crochet cotton Liana No. 10 ( for yarn requirements, see individual instructions ) with knitting needles 2.5 mm ( US : 1 )
Square doily : size 37 x 37 ( 25 x 25 ) cm / 14 5/8 x 14 5/8 ( 9 7/8 x 9 7/8 )", 1 ball Liana.Cast on 4 sts., arrange over 4 needles and join into a rnd. Commence with 3rd rnd. foll. knitting chart, working the pat. repeat 4 times per rnd. After completing 24th rnd. work 61st to 112th rnd. Then crochet sts. off the needle.
Hexagonal doily : size 57 ( 39 ) cm / 22 1/2 ( 15 3/8 )"diameter, 2 balls Liana. Cast on 6 sts. arrange over 3 needles and join into a rnd. Copmmence with 3rd. rnd. fool. knitting chart, working the pat. repeat 6 times per rnd. After 28thrnd. rep. 25th to 28th rnd.3 times. Then work 61st to 112th rnd. foll. knitting chart. To complete, crochet sts. off the needle. 
Octagonal doily : size70 ( 48 ) cm / 27 5/8 ( 18 7/8)" diameter. 3 balls Liana. Cast on 8 sts, arrange over 4 needles and join into a rnd. Work foll. knitting chart from 1st. rnd., working the pat. repeat 8 times per rnd. On 29th to 60th rnd. work 8 times as on 25th to 28th rnd. For 113th to 118th rnd. rep. 111th and 112th rnd. 3 times. After118thrnd.crochet sts.off the needle.
